COMPANY PROFILE:

Since 1959 DTEC Inc.; a family owned and operated business has provided high quality Precision Screw Machine Products to wide variety of industries, including Electronics, Medical, Aerospace, Telecommunications, Defense, Computers, and many other mechanical and electrical connectors and assemblies.

The company was founded by Domenic Coviello in 1959 in Wolcott, CT., and went by the name Venus Consolidated Industries Inc.which was started in a small garage with only two employees.  The company grew over the years to over 200 Employees working three shifts and becoming a well know and respected company by the Industry.  The company was sold in 1979 to a company based in Pennsylvania, but Domenic stayed on board as a Sales Consultant from 1979 to 1992.  In 1982 Domenic also started another company called DTEC Inc. making and selling precision and custom springs for the industry.  In 1992 the screw machine company he sold in 1979 was up for sale so he bought back the company in 1992.  The business was down to only six Swiss Screw machines and some secondary machines with ten employees.
